Which are the Closest Beaches to Orlando

2.jpg

By and large, there are five popular beaches found on the east coast which are about an hour and a half's drive from Orlando.  The west coast end as well has a number of beaches on them but these only tend to be a drive off the city of Orlando.

As a fact, Orlando has been widely known for the theme parks that feature it but all the same, when you happen to be heading to the coast, you  should know that there are as well lots for you to enjoy in beaches which are within a driving distance anyway like we have just seen above mentioned.

Talking of Orlandos closest beach, one of them are the Atlantic beaches which are on the east side of the coast.  The Atlantic beaches are a common love for many tourists for the fact that they will get you better attractions and bigger waves on the ocean.

However if you are the kind who loves places where the sea is warmer and a lot calm, then you may want to consider heading to the Gulf coast.  Here is more you need to know on some of the closest beaches to Orlando.

Headed for the east coast, you will find quite a list of the beaches lying quite close to Orlando and they are such as the Cocoa beach, Daytona beach, New Smyrna beach and the Canaveral National Seashore.  Driving to any of these beaches on the east coast wouldn't take you any longer than an hour, with the drive to the Cocoa beach and Daytona beach taking you about an hour's drive while driving to the New Smyrna beach going for about 58 minutes and you will only take an average of 50 minutes driving to the Canaveral National Seashore.  In a general sense, the Cocoa beach has been lauded as the must go to beach in Orlando as it has quite so much to offer tourists to the city in activities such as a thrilling nightlife, museum, large picnic pavilions, superb views of the space shuttle launches from the Cape Canaveral standing nearby, and water sports, deep sea fishing expeditions, shops and restaurants, to mention but a few.  The distance it actually has between it and Orlando is just but 59.8 miles and as such happens to be one of the beaches you can be sure to spend quality time in while on a tour of the city of Orlando.  In case you are planning to head this direction for your stay in Orlando, take route 538E via FL.

Still we have the Daytona beach as one other kind of beach that is sure worth taking a deeper look at for your information.  Like has already been mentioned above, the driving time to Daytona from Orlando would be around an hour and it is a span of about 55.8 miles.  By and large, here you will as well come across a number of attractions as well and some of these are such as the fact of there being a pier, a family entertainment center, shops, restaurants, water park, the Daytona International Speedway which is close by and the many other attractions.
